WHEN LIGHT CAN’T STAY HIDDEN

Tayo had a gift that everyone who encountered it could not deny. Whether it was the way she sang during devotion, the way she encouraged people, or the quiet depth of her words, there was something special about her.

But years passed, and nothing seemed to change.
No recognition.
No visibility.
No “open doors.”

She began to wonder quietly, “Lord, what is the point of this gift if no one sees it?”

One evening after a small fellowship gathering, a woman walked up to her and said, “You carry something powerful, but it feels hidden. Have you been praying about it?”

Tayo sighed. “I’ve tried everything… but maybe I haven’t really prayed about being seen.”

That night, something shifted.
Her prayer was no longer just, “Lord, use me.”
It became, “Lord, let what You have placed inside me be discovered for Your glory.”

She held onto a simple truth, when something valuable is lost, the owner searches diligently until it is found. If God placed the gift in her, then God Himself knew its worth.

Days turned into weeks. Weeks into months.
Then suddenly, without striving or pushing, something changed.

An unexpected opportunity came.
Someone noticed.
Doors began to open naturally.

It didn’t feel forced. It felt orchestrated.

Tayo realized something powerful:
When God decides it is time, your light will not need permission to shine.

No one lights a lamp and hides it forever.
If God has placed something valuable inside you, it may be hidden for a season but it will not remain hidden.

Stop striving to be seen.
Start praying to be revealed at the right time.

Because when God brings you into visibility,
no one can ignore what He has chosen to reveal.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Luke 8:16 – “No one lights a lamp and hides it in a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, let every gift and virtue You have placed in me come into divine visibility.
Father, bring me into the right places and before the right people at the right time.
Lord, let my light shine in a way that glorifies You and blesses others.
