Ada sat on the edge of her bed that morning, scrolling through her phone, sighing heavily.

“Nothing is working…” she muttered.
“I’m tired… things are just hard… I’m always behind…”

It had become a habit. Every morning, without realizing it, she filled her atmosphere with words of defeat.

Later that day, she visited her aunt, a woman known for her calm spirit and consistent joy. As soon as Ada began to speak negatively again, her aunt gently interrupted her.

“Wait… what are you saying?”

Ada paused, confused. “I’m just telling the truth…”

Her aunt smiled softly. “No, you are planting seeds.”

Those words stayed with her.

That evening, Ada sat quietly and reflected. She realized that her lips had been producing fear, doubt, and negativity. And without knowing it, she had been watering those seeds daily.

The next morning, something changed.

Instead of her usual complaints, she spoke differently:
“Today will favour me.”
“I am not behind; I am on God’s timing.”
“Good things are coming my way.”

At first, it felt strange. But as the days passed, her mindset shifted. Her confidence grew. Opportunities she once ignored became visible. Peace replaced anxiety.

She learned a powerful truth:
Her words were not just sounds, they were seeds.

Your life responds to the fruit of your lips.
What you consistently say, you eventually begin to see.

Stop speaking what you fear.
Start declaring what you desire.

Are you declaring… or just complaining?

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, help me to guard my words and speak life at all times.
Father, remove every negative mindset that influences my speech.
Lord, let the fruit of my lips begin to produce good things in my life.
