Amaka sat in a crowded bus, earphones plugged in, lost in her own world. Beside her was a young lady, restless and visibly troubled. She kept sighing, wiping tears, and staring blankly out the window.

Amaka noticed… but looked away.

A gentle thought nudged her heart:
“Say something to her.”

She ignored it.
“What would I even say?” she thought.

Again, the nudge came, stronger this time:
“Speak to her.”

Reluctantly, Amaka removed her earphones and tapped the lady softly.
“Hi… I don’t mean to disturb you, but I just felt I should tell you, God sees you, and everything will be okay.”

The lady froze. Tears rolled down her cheeks instantly.
“You don’t understand,” she said, her voice shaking. “I was just asking God if He could see me… if He even cared…”

Amaka’s heart skipped.
In that moment, she realized that wasn’t just her speaking.

It was God, using her voice.

Not everyone will hear God through thunder or visions.
Not everyone will have a dramatic encounter.
But God still speaks through people.

Just like a child can sound like their parent, we, as God’s children, are carriers of His voice. He places His words in our hearts so that others can hear Him through us.

That stranger on the bus didn’t need a vision.
She needed a voice.
And God found one.

God is still speaking today but many times, He speaks through us.

When you obey that gentle nudge,
when you speak life,
when you encourage,
when you share His truth

You become His voice to someone who is listening for Him.

Don’t stay silent when God is prompting you.
Someone’s answer might be in your obedience.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
2 Corinthians 5:20 – “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, make me sensitive to Your voice and Your promptings.
Father, let Your words flow through me to reach those who need You.
Lord, help me to boldly represent You and be a vessel for Your voice.
