Tobi woke up suddenly at 3:17 a.m., breathing heavily.
The dream had felt too real to ignore.

He saw himself standing before two roads. One was bright and smooth, filled with cheering voices. The other was narrow, quiet, and lonely. Just as he was about to choose the easier road, he heard a voice behind him say, “Not everything that shines leads home.”

Then he woke up.
For the rest of the day, the dream stayed on his mind.

“What does this even mean?” he muttered repeatedly.
He shared it with friends, but everyone had different opinions. One said it meant success was coming. Another said it was a warning.

Confused, Tobi finally knelt beside his bed that night and prayed, “Lord, if You are speaking to me, help me understand what You are saying.”

Days later, during his devotion, he felt strongly led to avoid a particular opportunity that looked attractive on the outside but carried hidden compromise. That was when peace settled in his heart, the dream had been a warning.

Tobi realized something important that day:
Having dreams is powerful, but understanding them is wisdom.
Pharaoh had dreams but needed Joseph to interpret them.

Nebuchadnezzar saw mysteries in the night but could not understand them.
Even Zechariah kept asking the angel, “What are these, my lord?”

God can reveal mysteries, warnings, direction, and even glimpses of the future through dreams. But beyond seeing, we must also seek understanding.

As believers, spiritual sensitivity is important.
But discernment is equally necessary.
Not every dream should be ignored, and not every dream should be interpreted carelessly. We need God not only to open our eyes, but also to grant us understanding.
When Heaven speaks, wisdom helps us respond correctly.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Daniel 2:22 – “He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him.”

PRAYER POINTS:
Lord, sharpen my spiritual sensitivity to recognize when You are speaking to me.

Father, grant me wisdom and understanding to correctly interpret divine warnings and instructions.

Lord, let every mystery You reveal bring clarity, direction, and peace into my life.
