Tomi was burdened.
Everywhere she looked at social media, news headlines, conversations around her, she saw a world drowning in confusion, immorality, fear, and chaos.

“I want to change the world,” she kept saying.
She joined movements.
She volunteered in outreaches.
She shared Gospel posts online.
She prayed for nations.

Yet something felt incomplete.

One evening, after a community outreach, she returned home exhausted. As she entered the living room, she saw her younger sister watching a show filled with toxic content. Her brother was scrolling through gambling sites. Her mother was quietly wiping tears after a heated argument with their father.

The burden hit her like a wave.

“I want to change the world… but look at the people right in front of me.”

That night, while praying, she heard a gentle whisper in her spirit:
“Begin at home.”

Just like that, clarity came.

She didn’t need a global platform first.
She didn’t need a stadium full of people.
She didn’t need to carry the world on her shoulders.

Her real ministry had been sitting at her dining table the whole time.

So she started small.

She prayed for her family daily.
She initiated Bible study once a week.
She apologized where she had been distant.
She began speaking life into her siblings.
She helped her parents reconcile.
She lived Christ before preaching Christ.

Slowly, the atmosphere in the home changed.
Arguments reduced.
Love grew.
Healing began.
One by one, each family member leaned toward God again.

And Tomi finally understood…

Changing the world begins by changing the world inside your house.

There is nothing wrong with having global vision.
But God’s order is simple:

Home first.
Others next.
The world after.

Noah preached to a generation, but only seven people entered the ark, his family.
And from that preserved family, God rebuilt the earth.

Big impact often begins with small circles.
If everyone influences their home, every home becomes a light and the world will brighten on its own.

Your greatest ministry may not be crowds…
It may be the people who share your last name.

Acts 1:8 — “…you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

PRAYER POINTS

Lord, open my eyes to the souls you have placed closest to me to influence and nurture.

Father, help me become a light and witness to my family before seeking platforms elsewhere.

Lord, let transformation begin with me, and let it spread through my home and beyond.
