Jide could not stand Chima’s progress.

They worked in the same company, but somehow, Chima kept rising. Promotions. Recognition. Bonuses. Favor seemed to follow him like a shadow. Ironically, Jide had been part of the panel that interviewed him years ago.

“How can someone I recommended now be ahead of me?” he would mutter bitterly.

He tried to frame him once, it failed.
He spread subtle rumors they didn’t stick.
Every attempt to bring Chima down collapsed mysteriously.

Frustrated, Jide sought darker help. But even there, he was told,
“The hedge around this man is strong. I cannot touch him.”

Instead of surrendering the hatred, Jide’s heart grew more desperate.

“If I cannot touch him,” he said coldly,
“Then touch something that belongs to him. His business. His marriage. His children. If you cannot strike all, strike a part.”

Because he understood something dangerous:
If a part is weakened, the whole can eventually crumble.

This is not a new strategy.

Balak, filled with envy against Israel, hired Balaam to curse them. But every time Balaam opened his mouth, blessings came out. Refusing to give up, Balak took him to another location and said in essence,
“If you cannot curse all of them, curse just a part.”

He believed that if even a portion was compromised, the damage would spread.

But God did not permit even a fragment to be cursed.

The enemy often looks for access points.
If he cannot destroy you entirely, he tries to tamper with a portion your health,
your child,
your finances,
your peace,
your reputation.

Because he knows that small breaches can grow into large cracks.

That is why you must pray not only for yourself, but for everything connected to you.

Let no part be exposed.
Let no area be vulnerable.
Let no door be open.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Numbers 23:13 –
“Then Balak said to him, ‘Come with me to another place… You will see only a part of them and not all; and from there, curse them for me.’”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, let no part of my life be available for the enemy’s manipulation.

Father, preserve my family, my work, my health, and everything connected to me.

Lord, close every access point and build a hedge of protection around all that concerns me.
