Bola sat quietly in church after service, tears streaming down her face. She had just read the story of Saul — the king who was chosen by God, anointed by God, and equipped by God — yet rejected because of disobedience.

The thought shook her deeply: “How could someone start so well, yet end in rejection?”

Suddenly, her heart began to cry out…

“Lord, don’t pass me by. Don’t replace me while I am still alive. Don’t let another take my place in my home, in my ministry, in my assignment, or in my destiny.”

She remembered how David prayed in Psalm 51:11 — “Cast me not away from thy presence, and take not thy Holy Spirit from me.” That became her cry too.

God’s greatest gift to us is His presence and His calling. When we walk in disobedience or pride, we risk being set aside. Saul’s rejection reminds us that titles, positions, or gifts are not guarantees of God’s approval. It is consistent obedience and humility that keep us aligned with His purpose.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Psalm 51:11 – “Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, please do not reject me. Keep me in Your presence daily.

Father, let mercy speak for me where I have failed, and restore me by Your grace.

Lord, preserve my place in my family, ministry, and destiny. Let no one take my crown.
