Tobi had a degree in marketing but couldn’t land his dream job. Frustrated, he settled for a job as a delivery man with a Christian publishing house.
Every day, he’d carry books, tracts, devotionals, and hand-deliver them to churches, offices, bookstores, and homes. Some days, he wondered if he had missed his path. After all, what future did a delivery man have?
Until one Sunday…
His company hosted a book launch, and the guest speaker couldn’t make it. Someone suggested: “That young man who delivers our books, he speaks well. Let him introduce the author.”
Tobi stepped up, spoke passionately about the message behind the book, and by the time he finished, the publisher walked up to him and said:
“You’re not just a delivery man. You’re a messenger. And I want you on my team full-time as a publicist.”
That day, a new season began.
Tobi’s greatness didn’t come through chasing a title, it came through faithfully carrying the Word.

Everyone wants to be great, but few realize that greatness is often hidden in serving God’s message. It’s not always about a mic or a pulpit. Sometimes, it’s about sharing a post. Recommending a sermon. Writing a devotional. Inviting someone to church. Encouraging a friend with Scripture.
In Luke 1:16, the Bible says of John the Baptist:
“He will bring back many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God.”
And because he did, Jesus called him the greatest man born of a woman (Luke 7:28).
What did John do?
He simply pointed people to Jesus.
And that made him great in heaven’s eyes.
You don’t need a title to be great. You need a message.
And the greatest message in the world is the Word of God.
