CHAPTER 22 “CORDELIA”

That night felt like a thousand years.

I couldn’t move. I couldn’t open my eyes. My body had become a cage and I was the prisoner inside. I felt him leave the room without touching me fully. But there was no relief. I was still locked in my body, trapped in silence, wide awake but unseen.

The hours dragged. I counted them by the pounding of my heart… Then he came back.

His hand brushed my skin again. His weight leaned close again. I cried inside, begging God to help me. He whispered those cursed words once more, “Stop struggling. It’s ordained.”

Tears flowed behind my sealed eyes. I spoke in tongues in my spirit, groaned prayers only heaven could hear. But no freedom came.

When I began to hear voices outside, saints singing during devotion, I knew morning had come. I felt a flicker of hope … maybe light would break my prison. But still my eyes stayed shut, heavy like iron gates.

Hours later, he returned. His voice was calm, almost gentle, but every word was poison.

“You are going to stay imprisoned if you keep struggling. Eve must surrender to her Adam. Just as God gave Adam his wife, and Adam knew her … so must it be with us. You must meet me as man and wife before you enter your divine calling. But you are resisting. That’s why the angels have imprisoned you.”

I wanted to laugh bitterly. Angels? No. What held me down felt nothing like God’s messengers. They were shadows. They were chains. Demons masquerading as angels of light.

I wanted to scream: Where is that in the scripture?! But I couldn’t. My voice was locked in the black box of my chest.

“God,” I prayed silently, “didn’t You deliver Peter from prison? Can’t You deliver me too? Show them Your mighty power. Break these chains.”

But the ceiling above me felt sealed. My prayers bounced back, and the silence grew heavier.

Again, his hands reached for me. Again, I resisted in my spirit, clinging to the little dignity left inside me. This time he pulled back quickly.

“I tried my best to be nice,” he said, almost sighing, and walked out.

Minutes turned into hours. My lips were dry. My throat burned. My stomach cried for food and water, but my body was still locked. Weakness pressed on me like a heavy cloak.

“Is this how I will end?” I thought. “Will I die here like Oluchi and Laura, discarded like nothing?” I knew death meant nothing to them. If they could throw others into the lake of fire, what was my life to them?

I had two choices left: to apply wisdom and play along, or to die like a martyr.

And in that room, in that silence, I didn’t know which was harder.

  1. When Peter was imprisoned, the Church interceded for Peter, the Church did not go into the prison to deliver Peter because it was not their responsibility of the church but of God. The mistake you made was to go into the devil’s deen, that is not your responsibility but God, your responsibility is to intercede and allow God do His work tge way He did for Peter. I pray the Almighty God will show you mercy and deliver you in Jesus name. Amen

  2. We are about to see the supernatural power of God. God did not prevent the three Hebrew men from being thrown into the fire but He went with them into the fire. Right in the midst of the fire, He worked wonder. Ayaaaaaaa 🔥🔥🔥

Ha, if what he was doing is real and from God, why locking her spiritually before sleeping with her. Only God knows how many ladies he had slept with in that manner.

I can’t even wait to know the punishment Cordelia has been through. God deliver your children o!
