WHEN RESTORATION FEELS LIKE A DREAM

Amara sat quietly by her window, staring into the evening sky.
There was a time her life felt full, plans were working, relationships were strong, and hope came easily.

But now, things were different.

A business she once believed in had collapsed.
A friendship she treasured had faded into silence.
Dreams she carried with excitement now felt like distant memories.

She whispered softly, “Lord… can anything truly be restored?”

Days turned into weeks, and though she tried to stay strong, the weight of loss lingered. It wasn’t just what she lost, it was the feeling that maybe those things were gone forever.

One morning, during her quiet time, her eyes fell on a familiar scripture:
“When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream.”

She paused.
Read it again.
And something stirred in her heart.

Restoration that feels like a dream?
That meant God doesn’t just restore, He restores beyond expectation.

That day, her prayer changed.
Not just “Lord, help me cope,”
but “Lord, restore me.”

Slowly, things began to shift.
New ideas came.
New connections formed.
Peace returned to her heart.

And one day, as she sat smiling at how things had turned around, she realized this must be what it feels like to dream with your eyes open.

Loss is real.
Pain is real.
But so is restoration.

God is not limited by what you have lost.
He is able to bring back, rebuild, and even replace with something greater.

Don’t just read His promises, believe them.
Pray them.
Stand on them.

Because when God restores, it won’t feel ordinary, it will feel like a dream.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Psalm 126:1 – “When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, restore every good thing I have lost in my life.
Father, let my restoration exceed my expectations and bring me joy again.
Lord, connect me back to the right opportunities, people, and blessings meant for me.
