WHAT IF GOD ALREADY FIXED IT?

“Lord, what if I never get that job?” Titi whispered, staring at yet another rejection email.
“What if marriage never happens for me?” she sighed.
“What if my life doesn’t turn out the way You promised?”

Those what ifs became her constant thoughts, small seeds of fear that grew into trees of worry. Every night she lay awake, wondering if she was missing her chance, if God had forgotten her, or if maybe she wasn’t good enough.

Then one day, while reading Exodus 4, something struck her Moses had asked God a similar question.

“What if they do not believe me or listen to me?” — Exodus 4:1

And God’s reply? He didn’t scold Moses. He simply pointed to the rod in his hand, the same rod that would later part the Red Sea, bring water out of a rock, and perform mighty miracles.

God was saying, “Moses, what if I’ve already equipped you?”

That’s when Titi realized something profound:
Her “what ifs” were just fear speaking louder than faith.

Friend, what if you’ve been worrying about things God already settled?
What if your spouse, your children, your job, your breakthrough are already in His plan, just waiting for the right timing?
What if the very thing in your hand your talent, your idea, your voice, your gift is the “rod” God wants to use?

You see, every “What if it doesn’t work?” has an answer in God’s assurance: “It will, because I am with you.”

So instead of asking, “What if it fails?”
Start declaring, “What if it works because God said so?”

Your faith activates what fear tries to cancel.

Yes, the waiting may be long.
Yes, the road may feel unclear.
But if He called you, He’s already gone ahead to prepare the way.

Stop letting what ifs paralyze you, start using what He’s already placed in your hands.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Exodus 4:2 — “Then the Lord said to him, ‘What is that in your hand?’”

PRAYER POINTS:
1️⃣ Lord, forgive me for doubting Your promises.
2️⃣ Help me to see the “rod” You’ve placed in my hand — my gifts, opportunities, and resources.
3️⃣ Teach me to trust that You’ve already prepared my future.
4️⃣ Silence every “what if” of fear with the “I AM” of faith.

REFLECTION:
Every “what if” is a question fear asks. Every “God said” is the answer faith gives. Which will you listen to today?

  2. If we were to rearrange the letters of “what if”, therein lies faith.
May we not take the Word and mysteries of our God lightly 🙏 🙌
