Everyone in the office admired Amara.

It wasn’t because she was the most educated. She wasn’t.

It wasn’t because she came from a wealthy family. She didn’t.

And it certainly wasn’t because she had the most experience. Several of her colleagues had worked there years before she arrived.

Yet somehow, things seemed to work in her favor.

When opportunities came, she was remembered.

When difficult projects arose, she found solutions.

When clients walked into the company angry, they often left smiling after speaking with her.

At first, her colleagues admired her.

Then they became curious.

Eventually, some became jealous.

“What exactly is her secret?” they wondered.

One afternoon, a few coworkers gathered during lunch break and began discussing her.

“Maybe she has powerful connections.”

“No, that’s not it.”

“Perhaps management favors her.”

“No, even customers who don’t know her seem drawn to her.”

The mystery remained unsolved.

One day, a new employee named Sandra decided to ask Amara directly.

“Amara,” she said, “I’ve been observing you. Everywhere you go, doors seem to open. What’s your secret?”

Amara smiled.

“I don’t have a secret formula,” she replied. “Before I leave home every morning, I pray one simple prayer.”

Sandra leaned forward.

“What prayer?”

Amara answered softly,

“Lord, don’t let me go anywhere Your presence cannot go with me.”

Sandra was silent.

Then Amara continued.

“My greatest advantage is not my skills, my education, or my experience. My greatest advantage is that God goes with me.”

That evening, Sandra reflected on those words.

She remembered Moses, who had been given the responsibility of leading an entire nation. Yet Moses understood that success without God’s presence was failure in disguise.

So he prayed:

“If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.”

Moses knew something many people forget:

The presence of God is the difference maker.

Many people seek success.

Others seek favor.

Some chase influence, connections, and opportunities.

But the greatest blessing is not what God gives.

It is God Himself.

When God’s presence goes with a person, ordinary efforts produce extraordinary results.

Skills are important.

Hard work is necessary.

But the greatest advantage anyone can have is the presence of God.

KEY SCRIPTURE:

Exodus 33:15 – “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, let Your presence never depart from my life.
Father, be the difference maker in every area of my life.
Lord, let Your favor and divine assistance accompany me wherever I go.
