‘STOP LIMITING GOD’

“I can’t do it, Pastor. I stammer. I can’t face a crowd.”

That was Femi’s excuse when he was invited to share his testimony at the youth conference. A story that could ignite revival, buried under insecurity.

What Femi didn’t know was that his testimony was the exact thing someone else needed to hear to break free from addiction.

But like Moses, he kept waving his “flaw” before God.
“I don’t speak well.”
“I’m not confident.”
“I’ll embarrass myself.”

Moses had a divine calling, to confront Pharaoh and lead a nation. But he kept disqualifying himself because of his speech issue (Exodus 4:10). Despite seeing miracles and hearing God’s voice, he clung more tightly to his imperfection than to God’s power.

So God gave the speaking role to Aaron.
The mission still succeeded, but Moses missed a chance to let God shine through his weakness.

What’s the thing you believe disqualifies you from greatness?
Is it your accent?
Your health condition?
Your education?
Your background?

Friend, if God is not intimidated by it, why are you?
He created your voice, your face, your journey, and none of it shocks Him.
If it can be improved, improve it. But if it’s the way you were made, embrace it.

Because what you call a flaw, God can use as a feature.
Stop making excuses for smallness. Your imperfection isn’t a limitation to God unless you make it one.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Exodus 4:10–12 – “Moses said to the Lord, ‘Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent… I am slow of speech and tongue.’ The Lord said to him, ‘Who gave human beings their mouths?… Now go; I will help you speak.’”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord, help me to stop magnifying my imperfections over Your calling.

2. Father, use my weakness as a platform for Your glory.

3. I refuse to let self-doubt stop the assignment of God on my life.
