Ayo was a well-known youth pastor. His social media reels went viral. Invitations poured in from cities and countries. Everyone loved how passionately he preached about salvation, purpose, and eternity.

But one night, after returning from a conference, he found his 16-year-old son unconscious, an overdose.

The boy survived, but those moments in the hospital waiting room changed everything.

Ayo kept hearing the whisper:
“You’ve led thousands to the altar, but not your own child.”

Like a man jolted awake in a sinking boat, Ayo realized he’d been busy throwing out lifebuoys to strangers while his own family drowned in silence.

In Genesis 7:1, God didn’t tell Noah, “Go save the world.”
He said:
“Enter the ark, you and your entire family, because I have found you righteous…”

Noah’s first assignment wasn’t the city, the nation, or the generation, it was his family.
And because he succeeded at home, humanity got a second chance.

We love the idea of being world changers, but have we changed our crew first?

Your first ministry isn’t Instagram.
It’s not the crowd.
It’s the ones who share your roof.
If your home is lost, your platform is hollow.

Influencing the world while neglecting your family is like building a cruise ship with no lifeboats.

Friend, get your crew on board:

• Speak to that brother who no longer goes to church.

• Pray over your daughter before she sleeps.

• Sit your spouse down and talk about eternity.

Because what’s the point of being applauded by the world, if you lose your home?

KEY SCRIPTURE:
“Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord, help me prioritize those you’ve placed closest to me.

2. Let my words not only reach the world, but reach my home.

3. Open my eyes to any member of my family who is silently sinking, help me throw the rope in time.

Send a message or make a call today, to a family member you haven’t spiritually connected with in a while. Ask how they’re doing, pray with them. Lead from home.
