There was a season when Ada barely slept.

Every night, her mind rehearsed unpaid bills.
Every morning, she calculated what she didn’t have.
She prayed for a breakthrough… then stayed awake trying to figure out how God would do it.

“How will it happen?”
“Who will help me?”
“When will it change?”

Her lips said, “I trust You, Lord.”
But her restless heart said otherwise.

One afternoon, exhausted from overthinking, she knelt beside her bed and prayed again. Not a long prayer. Not a dramatic one. Just a simple seed of faith planted into the soil of heaven.

Then she heard it quietly in her spirit:

“Go to sleep.”

Not in anger.
Not in dismissal.
But in assurance.

That night, she slept deeply for the first time in weeks.

Days later, a door opened unexpectedly.
A call she wasn’t chasing came through.
A provision she didn’t orchestrate arrived.

And she understood something powerful:
It was never her job to engineer the miracle  only to believe for it.

Jesus once described the Kingdom like a farmer who plants a seed and then sleeps. The seed grows, he doesn’t know how but it grows. First the blade, then the head, then the full grain.

The farmer’s role is to sow.
God’s role is to grow.

Worry does not speed up harvest.
Faith does not need supervision.

When you have prayed…
When you have sown…
When you have obeyed…

Rest.

Because the God who never sleeps is already working.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Mark 4:27 – “Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, help me release every worry I have carried in place of trust.

Father, teach me to rest in confidence after I have prayed.

Lord, grow the seeds I have sown according to Your will and timing.
