NOT ENOUGH YET

A Deep Thoughts Devotional Story

There is a quiet question God often asks the heart: “Is this truly your best… or just what is convenient?”
“Give Me more,” He says
not more in size, not more in noise, but more in depth.
More in intensity. More in surrender.

It’s possible to carry a Bible every day and still never open it. Possible to be busy for God
yet empty with Him.
Possible to give something and still be holding back your best.
Someone sits with God for hours digging into His Word, listening, waiting, obeying.

Another claims faith, yet struggles to offer God even a moment of attention.
And God says, “Give Me more.”
Jesus once watched people give offerings.
The wealthy gave large amounts. It looked impressive. But Heaven was silent.
Then a poor widow stepped forward and dropped in two small coins.

To human eyes, it was nothing. To Heaven, it was everything.
And Jesus said something shocking: “She gave more.”
More? Yes.
Because she didn’t give from excess, she gave from sacrifice. She didn’t give what was easy,
she gave her all.

Here is the truth: If you know you can still give more, pray more, love more, obey more, then you haven’t truly begun.

God is not moved by leftovers. He responds to hearts that hold nothing back. When you give God your more, you gain Heaven’s attention.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Luke 21:3–4 – “Truly I tell you,” He said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others… she put in all she had to live on.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, deliver me from offering You convenience instead of sacrifice.

Father, help me to give You my best—my time, my heart, my devotion.

Lord, stir my spirit to do more, love more, and become more for You.
