When Tunde received a scholarship to study abroad, not everyone was happy. A relative muttered, “Why spend so much on him? Others deserve it more.”

Those words stung. But thankfully, the sponsors weren’t moved by the voice of discouragement. They followed through, and today Tunde is excelling—proof that their investment was never a waste.

Beloved, there will always be voices—human or spiritual—that rise to oppose your favor. They try to convince your helpers that you’re unworthy of support, that your breakthrough is a “waste.”

It happened to Jesus too. When Mary poured expensive perfume on Him, Judas and others scoffed: “Why this waste?” (Matthew 26:8–9). But heaven had already approved it—her act was prophetic, preparing Jesus for His burial. What looked like waste was actually worship.

When God has chosen to bless you, no voice of opposition can cancel His decree. What men call “waste” is often God’s way of preparing and honoring you. Your destiny is not up for debate—it is sealed by God’s approval.

KEY SCRIPTURE:

Isaiah 54:17 – “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord.

PRAYER:

Father, silence every voice speaking against my blessing and destiny.

Lord, may my helpers never see their support for me as a waste.

Father, turn every opposition to a testimony of Your glory in my life.
