NA GOD HAND I DEY WAIT

That evening, Amaka sat quietly on her bed, phone in hand, scrolling through contacts. Rent was due. Foodstuff was low. And her account balance was shouting zero.

She sighed and muttered, “Who I go call now?”

She dialed one number. No response.
Another one picked, but gave excuses.
Another promised, “I go send am,” but nothing entered.

Frustrated, she dropped her phone and leaned back.
“Tired… I’m tired of depending on people,” she whispered.

Then her eyes fell on her Bible beside her pillow. Slowly, she opened it and her gaze landed on a verse:

“It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.”

She paused.

For a moment, everything became clear.
It wasn’t wrong to receive help from people…
But it was dangerous to depend on them as source.

That night, Amaka knelt down and prayed differently.
Not begging man through calls…
But depending on God through faith.

“Father… na Your hand I dey look.
You be my source.
You fit use anybody bless me, but na You I dey depend on.”

Days later, help came not from the people she expected, but from a completely unexpected place. And when it came, it was more than enough.

She smiled and said, “God no dey fail person wey dey look Him hand.”

Man can help you, but man is not your source.
When you depend on people, you may be disappointed.
But when you depend on God, He will always come through one way or another.

Shift your focus.
Stop chasing hands…
Start trusting the One who controls all hands.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Psalm 123:2 –
“As the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master… so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till He shows us His mercy.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, help me to trust You fully as my source and not depend on man.
Father, remove every fear and anxiety that makes me look to people instead of You.
Lord, open doors of provision and favor as I fix my eyes on You.
