‘FROM BATTLE TO CROWN’

When the award for “Leader of the Year” was announced, everyone clapped, but tears filled Mrs. Bamidele’s eyes as she walked to the stage.

She wasn’t crying because she was overwhelmed by the recognition, she was remembering the battles that brought her here.

Years ago, she had been abandoned by her husband with three children under the age of ten. The bills piled up. She sold her jewellery, then her furniture, until there was almost nothing left.

She worked three jobs, took night classes, and prayed through sleepless nights.
There were moments she wanted to quit. But every time, she remembered David’s words:

“Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.” — Psalm 144:1

Now, as she held the microphone, she said.

“This crown you see today was forged in the fire of hardship.

  • The strength you admire was built on my knees in prayer.
  • The wisdom I share was birthed through tears and battles I survived.
  • You cannot wear a crown without fighting battles. But if you fight with God, you won’t just survive—you’ll reign.”

Every decorated soldier is a product of battles fought and won.
In the Kingdom, every victory builds capacity for the next.

Joseph survived betrayal, false accusation, and prison then wore the crown in Egypt.
Paul survived shipwrecks, beatings, and prison then wrote letters that still impact the world.
Jesus endured the cross then sat at the right hand of the Father.

Your current struggle is not just pain, it is training. It’s producing in you the strength, faith, and wisdom you will need when you arrive at your place of impact.

*****

DEEP THOUGHT:
Your battles don’t just test you, they prepare you. Face them with God, and you will come out crowned.
