Zainab stood at the roadside under the hot afternoon sun, tired and thirsty. Her phone battery had died, and she had been trying to get home for hours. Finally, she walked into a small shop and softly said, “Please, can I have a bottle of water?”

The shop owner looked at her for a moment, then handed her the water. Zainab smiled with relief and began to drink.

But just as she turned to leave, the woman called her back.
“Sit down first,” she said kindly. “You look exhausted.”

Zainab hesitated, then sat. Moments later, the woman brought her a plate of food.

“I didn’t ask for this,” Zainab said, surprised.

“I know,” the woman replied gently. “But you needed it.”

Tears filled Zainab’s eyes. She had asked for water, but deep down, she needed strength, rest, and care. And somehow, without saying a word, those needs were met.

In that moment, she remembered the story of a servant who once stood by a well, asking only for a drink of water. But the woman who came didn’t just meet his spoken request, she went further and met the need he hadn’t voiced.

Zainab realized something powerful:
God has a way of answering not just the prayers we speak, but the ones we carry silently in our hearts.

Sometimes, what you ask for is only a fraction of what you truly need.
But God sees beyond your words.

He listens to your requests,
but He also responds to your unspoken desires.

He is the God who gives more than you ask.

Ephesians 3:20 – “Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, thank You for meeting not just my spoken needs, but my hidden ones.
Father, grant me favor with people who will go beyond what I ask.
Lord, surprise me with blessings that exceed my expectations.
