“Leave it!” I shouted again, but Kamsi wouldn’t listen.
She laughed loudly, holding tightly to a shiny glass ornament she had picked up from the floor. It sparkled beautifully in her small hands, and she was fascinated by how it reflected light.

What she didn’t notice was that the edges were broken.
As she played, the sharp sides began to cut into her fingers. Tiny drops of blood appeared, but she ignored the pain because she was enjoying the beauty of what she held.

Suddenly, one sharp edge cut deeper than before.
She screamed.
Her eyes dropped to her bleeding hands.
Only then did she understand, what looked beautiful was hurting her.

She dropped it immediately.

Friend, it is time you did the same.

Some things look attractive.
Some habits feel good.
Some relationships feel comforting.
But they are quietly injuring your soul, slowing your progress, and endangering your destiny.

You have prayed.
You have cried.
You have waited.

But God is saying:
“Let it go.”

Let go of the habit that keeps reopening old wounds.
Let go of the relationship that keeps pulling you away from truth.
Let go of the secret lifestyle draining your strength.
Let go of friendships that mock your faith.
Let go of greed, compromise, and double standards.

Not everything that makes you happy is good for you.
Not everything you love is meant to follow you into your future.

Abraham had to let go to move forward.
When he delayed obedience, progress stalled.
When he finally released what God asked him to release, direction returned.

Some doors remain closed not because God is silent,
but because your hands are still full.

Drop it.
Before it costs you more than you can afford to lose.

Destiny requires lightness.
You cannot run far while carrying what God never assigned to you.

What God asks you to drop is not to punish you, it is to protect you.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Hebrews 12:1 –
“Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Father, open my eyes to anything in my life that is slowing my journey.

Lord, give me the courage to release what You have not ordained for my future.

Holy Spirit, help me walk in obedience so I can fulfill my destiny.
