THE POWER OF THE LITTLE YOU HAVE
A Deep Thoughts Devotional Story

I used to believe that success required having everything in place.
The right background.
The right connections.
The right confidence.
The right timing.
But one quiet moment of reflection challenged that belief.
What if God never needed everything, what if He only needed the right fraction?
Then a familiar Bible story came alive in a new way.
Twelve men were sent to spy the Promised Land.
Twelve saw the same land.
Twelve faced the same giants.
But only two saw possibility instead of fear.
Two out of twelve.
Not half.
Not the majority.
Just two.
That’s barely seventeen percent.
Logic would reject it.
Statistics would dismiss it.
Common sense would call it insufficient.
Yet God didn’t move with the eighty-three percent that doubted.
He moved with the seventeen percent that believed.
Why?
Because Joshua had God.
And Caleb had a whole heart.
Joshua’s name meant “The Lord saves.”
Caleb’s life reflected wholehearted pursuit, unyielding, focused, relentless.
Together, they carried something stronger than numbers:
faith anchored in God and commitment that refused to quit.
The others had experience.
They had facts.
They had logic.
But they lacked trust.
So the wilderness kept them.
And the promise waited for the ones who followed God fully.
That day, I realized something freeing:
God does not begin with your abundance. He begins with your alignment.
You may not have everything.
You may not even have half.
But if you have God
and a heart that refuses to turn back,
you have more than enough.
You don’t need one hundred percent of resources to fulfill destiny.
You only need the right heart and the right foundation.
When God is your anchor
and obedience is your posture,
what you lack will not stop you, it will eventually follow you.
Don’t despise your seventeen percent.
If God is in it, it is enough.
KEY SCRIPTURE:
Numbers 14:24 –
“But because My servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows Me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to.”
PRAYER POINTS:
Lord, help me focus on what You have placed in me, not on what I lack.
Father, give me a heart that follows You fully, without fear or compromise.
Lord, let my small beginning, rooted in You, lead me into the fullness of my destiny.
