Jethro’s shepherd staff still felt strange in Moses’ hand as he walked into Pharaoh’s grand palace the same place he once called home. Gold-lined pillars gleamed, slaves bowed, and soldiers watched with scorn.

He was no longer the prince of Egypt just a weathered shepherd holding a stick. Yet, within him burned a quiet confidence. “The I AM has sent me.”

At God’s command, Moses dropped the rod and before the eyes of Pharaoh, it turned into a serpent. Gasps filled the hall. Power had spoken!

But then Pharaoh smirked. With a wave of his hand, his magicians stepped forward and threw down their rods and they too became serpents. For a moment, Moses’ heart sank. “Lord… You didn’t tell me this part.”

Yet, while fear whispered defeat, faith stood still and before their eyes, Moses’ serpent swallowed every other serpent on the ground.

Pharaoh’s magicians stared in disbelief. God had just made His statement: His power always prevails.

Friend, maybe that’s where you are now.
You know God called you, you’ve seen glimpses of His promise yet you’re surrounded by “other serpents.”

🎵 You’re a gospel singer, but ungodly songs seem to dominate the charts.
🎬 You’re a Christian filmmaker, but sponsors chase after empty entertainment.
💼 You’re an honest businessperson, but those using dark means seem to succeed faster.
🙏 You’re a true pastor, yet false prophets seem to have the crowd.

Don’t lose heart! God’s rod still swallows every other rod. His glory will silence counterfeit success. When the Lord rises for you, He won’t just prove you right, He will prove Himself mighty.

Stay faithful. Keep lifting your rod. It may look ordinary, but in God’s hand, it carries extraordinary power.

The stage may look crowded now but when God speaks, every imitation will bow.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Exodus 7:12 (KJV) — “For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.”

PRAYER POINTS:
1️⃣ Lord, help me trust Your power even when counterfeit versions surround me.
2️⃣ Father, let Your glory in my life swallow up every false glory opposing me.
3️⃣ Strengthen my hands to keep holding Your rod — my faith, my calling, my obedience.
4️⃣ Lord, prove Yourself mighty in my work, my ministry, and my destiny.
