DON’T KEEP THEM WAITING

Tosin leaned back in her chair, scrolling endlessly through social media. Deep down, she knew she was supposed to be doing more maybe start that Bible study group for teenagers, or record the worship songs God had been placing in her heart for months.

But there was always an excuse. “I’ll start next week.” “I’m not ready yet.” “Maybe when I have more followers…”

One evening, while watching a video about suicide awareness, she read a comment that broke her heart, “If someone had just told me God still loves me, maybe I wouldn’t have tried to end my life.”

That was the moment it hit her. Someone out there was supposed to hear her song. Someone’s destiny was waiting for her obedience.

Suddenly, the Holy Spirit whispered, “Tosin, every delay in your obedience is a doorway for the devil to step in. Get down from the mountain of excuses people are waiting for you.”

In Exodus 32, Moses stayed long on Mount Sinai, meeting with God. But down in the valley, the people grew restless. “Moses is taking too long!” they said and turned to Aaron, who built a golden calf.

While Moses tarried, they wandered.

Friend, this is not to condemn Moses, his meeting with God was holy and needed but it teaches us a powerful truth: when you delay in your assignment, others may drift into error.

You may think your calling is small but someone’s direction, encouragement, or even salvation could depend on your voice, your song, your giving, your teaching, or your leadership.

⚡ That business idea might employ people who are praying for work.
🎶 That song might heal someone’s broken heart.
📖 That teaching might save a marriage.
💸 That giving might help a missionary reach an unreached village.

Every gift you carry is a lifeline for someone else.

So, what are you still waiting for?

Get down.
Step out.
Reach them fast.

Because destinies are waiting and time is running.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Exodus 32:1 (NIV) — “When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, ‘Come, make us gods who will go before us…’”
