WHOSE VOICE IS THAT?

Tobi was top of his class in university. Now, two years post-graduation, he was stuck at home. Job applications went unanswered. Each rejection fed a voice that whispered louder each day: “You’re not good enough.”

One morning, as he scrolled through social media, he saw a post from a former classmate now working abroad. That voice came again, “Look at them. And you? Failure.”

That night, as he prayed, the Holy Spirit interrupted: “Who told you that?”

Tobi paused. The question hit deep. That voice wasn’t God. It was fear, wrapped in comparison. He remembered God’s promise over his life, the one he had allowed silence and delay to bury.

He opened his Bible and read Genesis 3:11: “Who told you that you were naked?”
He cried. Then he wrote down everything God had actually said about him. The next day, he applied for a mentorship program and got in.

It was the start of many wins. But more importantly, he had silenced the wrong voice.

What voice are you listening to? If it doesn’t sound like your Father, it doesn’t belong in your head.

Scripture: Genesis 3:11
“Who told you that you were naked?”

DECLARATION:
I silence every voice that contradicts God’s word over my life. I hear, believe, and move only by His voice.

PRAYER BULLETS:
1) Lord, help me discern Your voice above all others.
2) Uproot every lie I’ve believed about myself and replace it with Your truth.
