WHO TOOK WHAT WAS MINE?

A Deep Thoughts Devotional Story

Amara sat quietly on her bed, staring at the ceiling.
Her life looked fine from the outside, but deep within, something felt missing.

She had dreams… but they seemed delayed.
She had opportunities… but they never lasted.
She had moments of joy… but they often slipped away too quickly.

One evening, after another disappointment, she whispered with tears in her eyes,
“Lord… what is happening to me? It feels like something keeps taking from me.”

She thought about her life, times when things were about to work out, but suddenly collapsed…
moments when favor seemed close, but vanished…

It felt like a pattern.

As she prayed, a realization settled in her heart:
Life is not just physical, there are spiritual battles we do not always see.

There are forces that try to tamper with what God has given,
attempting to delay, distort, or divert destinies.

But in that same moment, a stronger truth rose within her spirit:
No one can permanently take what God has secured.

God is not silent about injustice.
He is not blind to loss.
And He is not powerless to restore.

Amara lifted her head and prayed with new boldness,
“Lord, You see everything that has been lost, delayed, or tampered with step in and restore me.”

And peace filled her heart.
Not because everything changed instantly…
but because she knew God had stepped into her situation.

There may be seasons where it feels like things are slipping away from you.
But God is a Restorer.

What was delayed can be recovered.
What was lost can be restored.
What was tampered with can be corrected.

You are not forgotten.
You are not abandoned.
And nothing that truly belongs to you in God’s plan can be permanently stolen.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Joel 2:25 – “I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten…”
