Chinedu had always been a man of faith. But after losing two major clients back-to-back and watching his savings disappear faster than he could replenish it, doubt crept in.

He’d stare at his dwindling account, calculating what was left. His prayers felt more like panic attacks, and hope seemed like an unrealistic luxury.

One day, during his usual morning devotion, he came across a post online that simply read:
“Don’t let your sight steal your faith. Shift your focus.”

Something clicked.

Instead of obsessing over numbers, Chinedu began confessing God’s promises daily. He wrote them on sticky notes and plastered them around his room. He turned off the noise of his problems and tuned into the voice of possibility.

Within weeks, he wasn’t just surviving, he was soaring. A former client returned with a major referral that restored everything he’d lost plus more.

The difference? A shift in focus.

Faith doesn’t deny reality, it redefines it.

When Peter walked on water, he did the impossible, until he looked at the waves (Matthew 14:30). Fear thrives when we focus on the visible. But strength is renewed when we fix our eyes on the invisible, the unchanging Word of God.
