“WHEN THE HOLD BREAKS”

Abigail was born in a family where women never moved past the village. Her mother died in childbirth, her aunt had six children by four men, and her elder sister’s dreams ended at the village tailoring shop.

Abigail knew something wasn’t right. She loved to learn, and every night she would sneak to a widow’s home to read by candlelight.

At 18, a government scholarship she qualified for was suddenly withdrawn. She was told: “You girls from this family never go beyond the village, accept your fate.”

But that night, as she wept, she cried a simple prayer:
“Oh God of escape, if you are real, break me out!”

Three days later, the Governor’s wife visited for a women’s outreach. She randomly asked Abigail a question, and stunned by her intellect, she adopted her on the spot and took her to the city.

Following that encounter, Abigail’s life transformed positively.

When the enemy holds what belongs to you; your mind, your health, your family, only the Word from the LORD can break that grip.

WHAT GRIP ARE YOU IN?
Ancestral patterns?
Financial stagnation?
Emotional manipulation?
Invisible ceilings on your progress?
A relationship that is draining your strength and identity?
The good news is—there’s a God who interrupts the grip.

PRAYER POINTS:
Father, in the name of Jesus, order my release from every visible and invisible grip that has held me bound.
O Lord, appear in the dreams and hearts of those holding what is mine, and command them to let it go.
Every voice or system that has vowed to limit me, be silenced by divine authority in Jesus’ name.
Break every generational cycle working against my release into destiny. I declare I am free!

Lord, as You did for Jacob, speak for me in rooms I cannot enter, and let Your voice secure my victory.

DECLARATION:
By the authority of Christ, I am no longer a prisoner to any grip. My mind is free, my path is open, and I step into divine progress, in Jesus’ name!
