Tosin had been running a small business for years, barely making ends meet.
One day, her friend nominated her for a local award. She didn’t think much of it, but when the voting started, something strange happened, her community rallied around her. People reposted her work, shared her story, and spoke highly of her dedication.

Within a week, Tosin had gone from “just another small business owner” to a household name in her town. Orders poured in, opportunities opened, and doors that had been locked for years suddenly flung wide.

Tosin said later, “It wasn’t my skill alone that lifted me, it was the voice of people God stirred to stand with me.”

In Scripture, we see the power of public voice.
When Pilate sought to release Jesus, the crowd demanded Barabbas instead. (Matthew 27:20–21)
Barabbas, a convicted criminal, walked free not because he was innocent, but because the people shouted for him.

This is the mystery of public acceptance. Sometimes destiny rises or falls on the voices of others.

That’s why it’s crucial to pray for divine favour. When God puts your name in the hearts of people, they will speak for you in rooms you have never entered. Joseph found favour in Pharaoh’s court because a butler remembered him. Esther rose because a king extended favour toward her.

Friend, never underestimate the power of voices speaking in your favour.

1. Lord, stir the hearts of men and women to speak for me in places where my name needs to be heard.

2. Father, grant me uncommon favour that lifts me beyond my qualifications.

3. Lord, silence every negative voice raised against my destiny.
