WHEN STRENGTH RUNS LOW

Amara sat quietly on the floor beside her bed, staring into space.
The room was silent, but her heart was noisy.

She was tired.

Tired of trying.
Tired of pretending to be strong.
Tired of disappointments that kept repeating themselves.

Every area of her life seemed to demand strength she no longer had.
Her finances were unstable.
Her relationships were stressful.
Her spiritual life felt dry.

Even simple tasks had begun to feel heavy.

That night, with tears in her eyes, she whispered,
“Lord… I can’t do this anymore.”

Out of habit more than faith, she reached for her Bible.
It opened to Isaiah 40.

Her eyes slowly moved across the words:

“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength…”

She paused.

Again, she read:

“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…”

Something shifted inside her.

Amara realized that God never asked her to carry life alone.
The problem was not that she was weak —
the problem was that she had been trying to survive without drawing strength from the One who never gets tired.

From that day, she stopped pressuring herself to have everything figured out.
She began taking life one day at a time.
Every morning, before touching her phone, she sat quietly with God.
Every burden that tried to choke her peace, she deliberately handed over to Him in prayer.

Slowly, her laughter returned.
Her mind became lighter.
Her hope became stronger.

The problems did not disappear overnight,
but she was no longer collapsing under them.

She had discovered a secret:
People may grow weary,
but God never does.

It is okay to admit you are tired.
Even strong people get exhausted.

But don’t remain there.
God specializes in strengthening weary hearts.

When your strength ends, His begins.
And those who lean on Him will never walk alone.

Wait on Him.
Rest in Him.
Draw strength from Him again.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Isaiah 40:29 – “He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, strengthen me in every area where I feel weak and exhausted.
Father, help me to stop relying on my own strength and depend fully on You.
Lord, renew my joy, my peace, and my hope as I wait upon You.
