WHEN HE BREATHES AGAIN

A Deep Thoughts Devotional Story

For months, Chinedu felt like his life had lost its color.
Nothing was moving forward.
Business was dry.
Peace was absent.
Even laughter in his home sounded tired.

Every day felt heavy, like waking up inside the same disappointing yesterday.

One evening, while sitting outside with his little daughter, she wrinkled her nose playfully and said,

“Daddy, this house feels sad. We need fresh air.”

The words sounded simple, but they pierced deeply into his spirit.

That night, Chinedu sat quietly with his Bible and opened to Genesis 2:7:

“Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life…”

He paused.
A thought suddenly flooded his heart:

If God’s breath could turn dust into a living being…
then surely His breath could transform any dead area of life.

For the first time in a long while, Chinedu prayed differently.

“Lord, breathe freshness into my life again.
Breathe peace into my troubled heart.
Breathe wisdom into my decisions.
Breathe favor into my home.
Breathe strength into my weary soul.”

Every morning, he continued praying intentionally, calling forth the dimensions he needed from God.

BREATH OF PEACE = PEACEFUL LIFE
BREATH OF JOY = JOYFUL HEART
BREATH OF FAVOR = OPEN DOORS
BREATH OF STRENGTH = ENDURANCE

And slowly, things began to shift.
Not overnight, but undeniably.

The atmosphere around him changed first.
Then his mindset.
Then opportunities began to appear where frustration once lived.

Chinedu realized something powerful:
When God breathes on a person, ordinary things begin to carry extraordinary life.

Some lives are not destroyed, they are simply suffocating.
What you may need is not more struggle, but a fresh breath from God.

The same God who breathed life into dust still breathes transformation into weary souls today.

What dimension of His breath do you need?
Healing? Peace? Wisdom? Restoration? Joy?

Ask Him.
His breath still changes destinies.

Job 33:4 – “The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, breathe fresh life into every dry and struggling area of my life.
Father, release upon me the dimensions of grace, favor, peace, and strength that I need.
Lord, let Your breath transform my atmosphere and make my life reflect Your goodness.
