WHEN GOD WRITES THE FINAL CHAPTER
A Deep Thoughts Devotional Story

As Inspired by the LIVING WORD
For years, Dayo and Amaka carried two things together, their faith and their pain.
Everywhere they went, they encouraged people. Their favorite words were always:
“With God, nothing is impossible.”
They prayed with the broken, strengthened discouraged hearts, and constantly reminded people that God never forgets His own.
But behind closed doors, they carried a silent battle.
Twelve years of waiting.
Twelve years of unanswered questions.
Twelve years of enduring the sting of mockery.
Amaka had grown used to the whispers.
“She talks too much about faith for someone God has forgotten.”
“Maybe they should stop encouraging others and focus on themselves.”
Even family members mocked them openly. Some suggested ungodly alternatives. Others laughed at their devotion to God.
Dayo hurt deeply each time, but he never stopped standing beside his wife. Together, they held onto God even when people made them feel foolish for believing.
What the mockers did not know was this:
While they were laughing, Heaven was working.
It was the same mistake the crowd made at Calvary.
They looked at Jesus on the cross and concluded it was over.
“He saved others, but cannot save Himself,” they mocked.
Little did they know that behind the pain was resurrection… behind the shame was glory… behind the suffering was a name above every other name.
Then one morning, after years of waiting, God changed Dayo and Amaka’s story.
The hospital room that once knew tears suddenly exploded with laughter and worship.
God blessed them not with one child, but with triplets.
The news spread everywhere.
The same people who once mocked them now testified about the greatness of God. Their story became a living sermon that indeed, with God, nothing is impossible.
Later that evening, Amaka posted online:
“People may mock the process, but only God controls the outcome. If He made the promise, He will surely fulfill it.”
Dear reader, never allow mockery to make you abandon your faith.
People only see the current chapter; God sees the complete story.
What looks delayed is not denied.
What feels painful is not pointless.
If you remain faithful, the same situation people mocked may become the testimony that silences them.
God is still writing your story and He always saves the best chapters for the end.
KEY SCRIPTURE:
Matthew 19:26 – “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
PRAYER POINTS:
Lord, help me remain faithful even when people mock my faith and waiting season.
Father, strengthen my heart to trust You when answers seem delayed.
Lord, let my life become a testimony that nothing is impossible with You.
