WHEN GOD FEELS FAR

Many times, believers whisper a painful question:
“Why does God feel so far away from me?”

We know He exists.
We know He is real.
Yet deep in our hearts, it feels like He has stepped back…
like His presence has grown silent.

The truth is not always easy to accept.
Sometimes, distance is not caused by God’s absence,
but by our disobedience.

Scripture reminds us that God spoke these words about His own children:
“My God will cast them away, because they did not obey Him…”

Not unbelievers.
Not strangers.
His own people.

Many believers do not struggle with big sins but with the little ones we excuse:
neglecting obedience,
withholding generosity,
harboring bitterness,
walking in compromise,
ignoring God’s instructions.

Then when peace disappears,
when prayers feel empty,
when joy fades,
we assume God moved…

But often, it is we who stepped away.

If you desire to live continually in His presence,
the pathway is simple obedience.

Not partial obedience.
Not selective obedience.
But full-hearted obedience.

God does not delight in distancing Himself from His children.
But He also does not ignore disobedience.

Presence flows where obedience lives.
Peace thrives where surrender remains.

Return to obedience.
Return to alignment.
Return to Him.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Hosea 9:17 –
“My God will reject them because they have not obeyed Him.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, reveal any area of my life where I have walked in disobedience.

Father, help me to obey You in both the little and big things.

Lord, restore my intimacy with You and let Your presence abide with me again.
