WHEN EVIL HANDS FAIL

Ada was known in her community for her honesty and kindness. Her small grocery shop always had customers — not because her prices were the cheapest, but because her smile was genuine. Everything she touched seemed to prosper.

But not everyone was happy about that. One of her competitors, Mama Ife, couldn’t stand watching Ada’s success. “She must be using charm,” she murmured one evening, jealousy burning in her heart.

Determined to bring Ada down, Mama Ife visited a local sorcerer. “Do something to stop her business,” she demanded. But as the man began his incantations, he suddenly screamed, clutching his hand in pain. “Woman! Leave that girl alone! She carries a fire you can’t fight!”

Terrified, Mama Ife fled the shrine. Days later, her right hand went numb — a constant reminder of the danger of touching a child of God.

Ada, unaware of the battle fought on her behalf, continued to serve customers with joy. She didn’t know that Heaven had defended her even before she prayed.

FRIEND, when the enemy stretches a hand against you, Heaven stretches a stronger one to stop it. The story of King Jeroboam reminds us of this truth. When he raised his hand against the prophet of God, Scripture says his hand withered instantly (1 Kings 13:4).

When you walk with God in sincerity, His presence becomes your shield. Evil hands may rise, but they will always fail.

When your life begins to shine, you become visible to envy. But don’t be afraid — God knows how to paralyze evil plans before they touch you. Stay pure, stay prayerful, and let your light keep shining.

KEY SCRIPTURE:

Isaiah 54:17 (NIV) – “No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.”

1 Kings 13:4 (KJV – “And it came to pass, when King Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God… he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up.”

2️⃣ Father, every hand stretched against my destiny — wither by fire in Jesus’ name!
3️⃣ Lord, make my life too hot for the enemy to handle.
