‘THE DEVIL’S BLUEPRINT: SHUT DOWN THE DREAM’

When Fola first joined the choir, everyone admired her gift, her voice was heaven-sent, and her passion, undeniable.

A few months in, she began to draw attention from some influential people. Prophecies started coming: “You’re going to lead millions in worship… Nations will be blessed through you.”

But somewhere along the way, an old relationship resurfaced. A guy from her past came back, charming, persuasive, and spiritually cold. Slowly, compromise began.

One night became two. Two turned into a habit. Her voice was still powerful, but her fire was fading. Her spiritual senses dulled. She began skipping rehearsals, avoiding fellowship, and before long, left the choir entirely.

The devil didn’t come with horns and chains, he came with distraction, sin, and delay.

He didn’t need to kill her to destroy the dream, he just needed her disconnected from God.

“Let’s kill him, and see what becomes of his dreams.” (Genesis 37:20)
That was what Joseph’s brothers said, but it’s also what the enemy still whispers today.

Only now, the “killing” looks different:

• Addictions that slowly drown a man’s focus.

• Secret sins that sap spiritual strength.

• Toxic relationships that derail destiny.

• Hidden habits that separate us from God.

The enemy isn’t just trying to “tempt” you, he has a blueprint to kill your future.
Every time you willingly indulge in that sin, you’re handing him the tools to destroy what God has planned for you.

That’s the trap of the enemy.
It was disobedience that kicked Adam and Eve out of Eden, a place of rest, provision, and God’s glory.
And it’s still disobedience that drives us from divine destiny into a life of struggle.

Friend, sin doesn’t just offend God, it sabotages you.
It doesn’t just “make heaven sad”, it makes hell rejoice.

2. Father, give me strength to walk away from what is killing my purpose.

3. Restore every area of my life that sin has broken, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.

Don’t cooperate with the devil to end your own dream.
Every sin he suggests is a tool meant to silence your destiny.
Get up, return to the place of obedience, your Eden awaits.
