‘SAY IT CLEARLY!’

“Say what you mean and mean what you say.”

One of the greatest secrets to effective leadership, parenting, personal growth, and even answered prayers is clarity. Vagueness is a dream killer. Vague leaders confuse their teams. Vague parents raise disoriented children. Vague prayers are rarely answered.

Imagine building a house without a blueprint. Imagine telling a tailor, “Just make me something nice.” What does “nice” mean? Without specifics, the result will most likely miss the mark.

Even God, the Ultimate Creator, did not leave Moses to guess. He gave clear, detailed instructions, down to the measurements, colors, materials, and garments. Exodus repeatedly echoes God’s emphasis: “Do as I have commanded.”

When God asked Solomon what he wanted, Solomon was specific, he asked for wisdom. And he received not just wisdom but riches and honor too.

Elijah, when praying for rain, was not vague. He locked himself in prayer, eyes fixed on one thing, rain. He prayed persistently, definitively until it came.

Whether you’re leading a team, parenting children, mentoring others, or simply navigating your own destiny, you must be definite.

Define your dreams. Speak your vision. Write your goals. Clarify your prayers.

When you speak clearly, heaven and earth can align to bring it to pass.

• Lord, help me define my goals and desires clearly.

• Father, give me grace to communicate my vision with precision and power.

• I refuse to live vaguely. I receive wisdom to make my life a clear blueprint of purpose.

• As I speak with clarity, let doors open for me in Jesus’ name.
