You’re tired of waiting on love, success, breakthrough. Then comes a smooth voice offering a quick fix. A faster route. A sensible alternative.
It sounds logical. Less struggle. More results.
But that’s the devil’s strategy.
He once offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world, no cross, no pain, just one bow (Luke 4:6–7).
He offered Eve god-like wisdom when she was already made in God’s image (Gen 1:27).
The truth?
The devil’s shortcuts always come at a cost, your destiny.
He promises progress, but the goal is control.
He distracts with ease, but his aim is eternal loss.
He’s still doing it today:
- That “understanding” coworker who feels like a better partner than your spouse.
- That music producer who says “church won’t make you famous.”
- That deal that seems perfect, but you have to compromise just a little.
Don’t be deceived.
What looks good may be a trap.
If Jesus had bowed, there’d be no salvation.
If you bow, what will be lost?
PRAYER POINT:
Lord, help me see through every trap disguised as opportunity. Strengthen me to wait on Your will, and to reject anything that looks good but isn’t from You. In Jesus’ name.
