‘CHANNEL OR CONTAINER?’

Have you ever paused to ask yourself, “Am I a channel or just a container of God’s blessings?”

Many of us have food on our tables, roofs over our heads, and a life of relative ease. Yet, around us are people struggling to survive each day. God didn’t bless us to hoard; He blessed us so we could become conduits of His compassion.

The truth is, God’s heart beats for the poor. Scripture reminds us in Matthew 5:7, “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” Also, in Exodus 22:25–27, He cautions us not to exploit those in need, not to place undue interest or burdens on the poor.

Your ability to give is a sacred trust. When you share your resources sincerely, not for show or social media validation, God is pleased. The goal is not just to accumulate wealth, but to allow His provision to flow through you to others. That’s when true wealth becomes meaningful.

You may not have millions, but your “little” can still be someone’s “miracle.” Be the hand of God someone has been praying for.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Lord, make me a generous channel of Your blessings, not just a consumer.

2. Give me the wisdom to know who to help and the humility to give without pride.

3. May I never be blind to the needs around me; open my eyes to opportunities to show mercy.

4. Lord, help me lend with grace and give with joy, to honor You and bless others.
