Amara was known for being quiet. She wasn’t the type to preach loudly or stand in front of crowds. She preferred to stay in her corner, minding her business.
But one afternoon, something happened that changed her perspective.
A new girl joined her class withdrawn, hurting, and clearly carrying silent battles. While others ignored her, Amara felt a gentle nudge in her heart: “Go and talk to her.”
She hesitated. “What will I even say?” she thought.
Still, she walked up to the girl and simply said, “Hi… I just felt like checking on you. You’ll be fine, okay?”
That was all. No long sermon. No deep preaching. Just a few sincere words.
Days later, the girl returned with tears in her eyes.
“That day you spoke to me,” she said, “I was about to make a terrible decision. But your words felt like God was speaking directly to me.”
Amara stood still, overwhelmed. She realized in that moment that it wasn’t just her voice that spoke that day, it was God’s voice through her.
Just like a child can sound like their parent, we, as God’s children, are carriers of His voice. God may not always speak in thunder or appear in visible form, but He speaks through people through words, actions, kindness, correction, and love.
God is still knocking on hearts today.
But many times, He knocks through you.
People may never hear an audible voice from heaven,
but they can hear God through your words, your actions, and your life.
Don’t stay silent when God is prompting you to speak.
Don’t ignore the nudge to help, encourage, or reach out.
You might just be the voice someone has been waiting for.

Romans 10:14 – “How then can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?”
PRAYER POINTS:
Lord, make me sensitive to Your voice and promptings.
Father, let my words and actions reflect Your heart to others.
