WHEN GOD CREATES ANOTHER ENTRANCE

A Deep Thoughts Devotional Story

Chinedu’s nickname among his friends was “The Resisted One.”

Everywhere he went, opposition seemed to follow him. In just five years, he had changed several jobs not because he was lazy or incompetent, but because he refused to compromise.

He was always the diligent one.
The honest one.
The worker who refused to steal, manipulate records, or join secret office corruption.

At first, people admired him.
Then they began to resent him.

“Why are you acting holy?” one colleague mocked.

“Leave us alone to survive,” another warned him.

“You are making the rest of us look bad,” someone hissed angrily.

The pressure became unbearable. Sometimes he was falsely accused. Other times, he was isolated until resigning became the only option.

After losing yet another opportunity, Chinedu became discouraged. One night, he knelt beside his bed and prayed with tears in his eyes:

“Lord, I’m tired. Every door I enter gets shut against me because I choose integrity. Please make a way for me. Don’t let my destiny die because of wicked people.”

In the silence of that night, one thought settled deeply in his spirit:

“When men lock the door, I can create another entrance.”

Days later, Chinedu received a surprising call from a former employer.

“Chinedu,” the man said warmly, “I know why you left my company. You refused to bend to corruption, and I have never forgotten your integrity.”

The man continued,
“I’m launching a new organization, and I need someone trustworthy to lead it. I don’t just need a worker, I need a man with character. Would you be willing to oversee the company?”

Tears gathered in Chinedu’s eyes as he remembered God’s words.

What men tried to block, God redirected.
What looked like rejection was actually divine rerouting.

Just like the paralytic man whose friends could not enter through the crowded door, God made another way through the roof.

Because when God decides to bless a man, no human obstruction can stop Him.

People may resist you because of your integrity.
Doors may close because you refuse to compromise.
But never forget this truth:

God is not limited to doors.
He can open roofs.
He can create pathways where none existed.

Stay faithful. Stay upright.
The God who sees in secret knows how to reward openly.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Isaiah 43:19 – “See, I am doing a new thing… I will make a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, make a way for me where men say there is no way.
Father, honor my integrity and let my faithfulness speak for me.
Lord, open uncommon doors of favor and prosperity in ways my enemies cannot understand.
