AFTER THE STORM COMES THE SONG
A Deep Thoughts Devotional Story

Amara sat quietly by the window, staring into nothing.
The past months had taken so much from her peace, joy, confidence.
Nothing seemed to be working. Every effort felt like pouring water into a basket.
One evening, exhausted from overthinking, she whispered to herself,
“Will this ever end?”
Her grandmother, who had been watching her silently, walked in and sat beside her. With a gentle smile, she said,
“My dear, there is something you must never forget… there is always an ‘after this.’”
Amara looked at her, confused.
Her grandmother continued,
“No matter how long the night feels, morning will come. Every season has an expiry date. Pain is real, but it is not permanent.”
That night, Amara opened her Bible and her eyes fell on the story of Job. A man who lost almost everything, his health, his children, his possessions. It was overwhelming. But then she saw something powerful:
“After this…”
Those two words changed everything.
After the pain came restoration.
After the loss came abundance. After the tears came joy.
In that moment, hope was reborn in her heart.
Her situation hadn’t changed yet but her perspective had.
She realized that her current season was not her final chapter.
God was not done writing her story.
And for the first time in a long while, she smiled softly and said,
“After this… I will laugh again.”
No matter what you are going through, remember this:
There is always an “after this.”
Your pain has an ending.
Your tears have a timeline.
Your struggle is a chapter not the whole story.
Hold on. Trust God.
Because when He steps in, everything changes.
KEY SCRIPTURE:
Job 42:16–17 – “After this, Job lived a hundred and forty years… and so he died, old and full of years.”

That’s a great point about game accessibility! Seeing platforms like ab8 focus on localized payment options and security (KYC verification) is smart for the Philippine market. Makes enjoying slots & more much easier! 👍
