Kunle sat quietly at the edge of his bed early in the morning, staring at the many things around his life that did not look right. Bills were piling up, his health had been unstable, and his heart felt heavy with worry.

For days he had complained, thinking about everything that was going wrong. But that morning, as he opened his Bible, his eyes fell on a familiar scripture:

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

Kunle paused. The earth at that time was without form and filled with darkness. Yet God did not sit and complain about the darkness. Instead, He spoke what He wanted to see.

God didn’t describe the darkness, He declared the light.

That realization struck Kunle deeply. Many times, we spend our energy talking about what is wrong, rehearsing our fears, and describing our problems. But the Creator showed us a different pattern: call forth what you desire to see.

From that moment, Kunle changed his words. Instead of speaking fear, he began declaring faith. Instead of describing problems, he began calling forth solutions.

Slowly, hope replaced discouragement in his heart.

Because when faith-filled words align with God’s promises, darkness has no choice but to give way to light.

Your life may not look the way you want right now.
Your family, health, business, or calling may seem surrounded by darkness.

But remember what God did at the beginning:
He called forth the light He wanted to see.

You can do the same through faith and prayer.
Speak life. Speak hope. Speak God’s promises over your situation.

Genesis 1:3 – “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

PRAYER POINTS:

I call forth God’s intervention in every situation bringing embarrassment into my life.

I declare sound health and long life over myself and my family.

I call forth profitable opportunities and divine favor over my work and career.

I speak peace, stability, and prosperity over our nation.

Declare now, by faith, what you desire to see in your life.
