WHEN VOICES TRY TO BLOCK YOUR HELP

Pelumi stood quietly in the corner, pretending not to hear, but every word pierced her heart.

“Aunty, if you send this girl abroad, she won’t remember you. You know how ungrateful she can be. Remember when you bought her a bag and she complained it wasn’t designer? Is that someone worth helping? Please don’t waste your money. She can study here.”

Folasade sat confidently in Big Aunty’s shop, skillfully tearing down Pelumi’s chances, one sentence at a time.

Pelumi didn’t speak.
She didn’t fight back.
She only felt something heavy pressing on her spirit.

Later that night, as she cried in prayer, a story came to her mind the children of Israel in the days of Ezra. Their enemies wrote false letters to the king, warning him that if God’s people were allowed to rebuild their city, they would rebel. The king believed the lie and stopped the work.

And Pelumi understood something powerful:
Sometimes, the delay in your help is not because God said no but because someone spoke against you.

There are voices that rise, not from concern, but from jealousy.
There are tongues trained, not by love, but by darkness.
Their assignment is simple:
Discourage your helper.
Block your breakthrough.
Delay your destiny.

But heaven is not silent when hell is speaking.

Not every closed door is from God.
Not every delay is divine.
Sometimes, there is warfare between you and your helper.

But no word spoken against your destiny can stand
when God has authorized your rising.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Ezra 4:4–5 –
“Then the people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building.”

PRAYER POINT:

Anyone assigned by darkness to speak against me and discourage my ordained helper, let the Angel of the Lord silence their voice and frustrate their agenda, in Jesus’ name.
