“Bode! Is this your shop? This place is massive, and you even have staff now? In this economy?” Kunle asked, almost in disbelief.

Bode laughed. “Yes, my brother. God has been faithful.”

Kunle shook his head. “Don’t give me that line. Everybody says God has been faithful. What’s the real secret?”

Bode leaned closer and whispered, “A prayer point.”

Kunle frowned. “Prayer point? I’ve been praying since! If prayer alone brings money, I should be a millionaire by now.”

Bode smiled. “It’s not just about praying, but asking God to open your eyes to opportunities. Every morning, I pray: ‘Lord, open my eyes to the doors You’ve placed around me today.’ And He has never failed me.”

A month later, Kunle remembered his friend’s words. He prayed sincerely before stepping out. That same week, he noticed the abandoned plot near his street being used as an illegal dump site. An idea struck him—he proposed to the local council to turn it into a community park and recreation ground. His proposal was approved, and today, Kunle runs the management contract, earning respect and financial stability.

Opportunities don’t always come dressed in gold. Sometimes they are wells hidden in deserts, like when God opened Hagar’s eyes to see water (Genesis 21:19). The well was there all along, but she needed divine vision to notice it. In the same way, ask God to open your eyes. Even in seasons of scarcity, He can show you ideas, businesses, and partnerships that will change your story.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Isaiah 45:3 – “I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.”

PRAYER:
Lord, open my eyes to see the opportunities You have placed around me. Remove every veil of blindness, and lead me to my wells of prosperity and abundance, in Jesus’ name.
