‘WHEN GOD REMEMBERS A NAME’

Tolu had once been the rising star of her university. The lecturers spoke highly of her brilliance, and organizations came hunting for her even before she graduated.
But somewhere between graduation and reality, everything changed. One rejection turned into two, two into ten, and before long, Tolu was helping her mother run a small food stall under a pedestrian bridge in Lagos.
She’d stopped opening emails.
Stopped applying.
Stopped dreaming.
“I don’t think I’m meant for anything big,” she muttered one morning while slicing onions.
But heaven had not forgotten her.
Like Joseph, forgotten in prison despite interpreting dreams, Tolu had helped many people get jobs, fix their resumes, and find direction during their school days. But now she was the one stuck.
Then came a random email. A role in an international development agency had suddenly opened. One of her old classmates had remembered her and submitted her name, without informing her.
When they called for the interview, she was stunned. “I didn’t apply,” she said.
“We know,” the voice replied. “But we’ve heard enough about you to want to meet you.”
That was the beginning. Tolu stepped into rooms she thought were permanently shut against her. Doors that had refused to open before swung wide.
Friend, you are not forgotten.
Heaven still remembers your name.
Just like Mephibosheth, who was remembered in his forgotten state and called to dine at the king’s table, your season of remembrance has come.
God is able to place your name on the minds of your helpers. And when He does, delay dies.
Like David lost his rest until Mephibosheth was found, so shall your helpers lose sleep until you are remembered in Jesus’ name.
You may feel hidden, sidelined, or even unworthy, but the King of Kings specializes in lifting the forgotten.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION:
Everything and everyone that has covered your glory shall be removed in Jesus’ name.
You will be remembered.
You will be called.
You will be honoured.
Your wasted years shall be recovered in Jesus’ name.
Expect unexpected favour. Expect overdue breakthroughs. You are not forgotten.
BIBLE REFERENCE:
2 Samuel 9:7 — “Don’t be afraid,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness… You will always eat at my table.”
PRAYER POINT:
Lord, remember me. Put my name in the hearts of kings and decision-makers. May I be called to dine where I once crawled. Amen.
