“WHAT IS ON YOUR HEAD?”

Joseph, the dreamer. The favored son. The prisoner. The prime minister.
One man, many seasons. But what stayed consistent? What was on his head.

From the day Joseph dreamt of stars bowing, there was an unseen mark on his head. It wasn’t physical, but it was visible to the realms that matter.
His brothers saw it. They hated him.
Potiphar’s wife saw it. She lusted for him and then lied against him.
The prison warden saw it. He handed him responsibilities while others served time.
Pharaoh saw it. He removed his ring and placed Joseph over all of Egypt.

What was on Joseph’s head?
Favour. Oil. Authority. Approval.

But the journey was long and full of strange stops.
Betrayal. False accusation. Imprisonment.

Yet nothing could erase the divine stamp on his head. Because what is on your head rules what happens around your life.

Just like Joseph, Cain had something on his head too but his was a mark of judgment. Not all marks bring favor. Some bring affliction. Some cause people to reject you without reason. Others bring stagnation, dryness, and delay.

Your head is your control tower.
That’s why Herodias’ daughter didn’t ask for John the Baptist’s hand or feet, she asked for his head. Because when your head is cut off, destiny stops.
Absalom too, rebellious and proud, was killed not because he was weak, but because his head got stuck in the branches. The enemy doesn’t need your whole body, just your head.

So let me ask you:
What is on your head?
What unseen mark do you carry that’s either drawing helpers or pushing them away?
What is hovering over your head; favor or frustration?

The good news?
There is power in Christ to cleanse and re-mark your head.
He was crowned with thorns, so your head could be crowned with glory.
He carried a mark of shame on the cross, so you can carry a seal of grace today.

PRAYER BULLETS:

1. Oh Lord, anoint my head with the oil of divine favor, like Joseph, in Jesus’ Name.
2. Whatever evil mark, symbol, or siege placed on my head; Father, erase it by the Blood of Jesus!
3. Let my head be lifted above my enemies and marked for divine encounters from today, in Jesus’ Name.
