Tola had always prayed for a divine assignment. She imagined it would come with angelic encounters, open doors, and instant recognition. But what came instead was obscurity, a dry season, and a lot of “Lord, are You still with me?”

The wilderness isn’t the absence of God, it’s often the very place He hides His presence so you can seek Him beyond blessings.

Moses wandered for forty years before purpose found him. John the Baptist lived in the wilderness until the day of his revealing. Even Jesus was led there by the Spirit for a season of testing.

The wilderness isn’t punishment. It’s preparation.

Sometimes God silences every other voice so you can finally hear His.

Tola’s wilderness didn’t end in vain. When her moment came, it wasn’t just about fulfilling purpose; it was about being a person of purpose.

So if your path feels dry, don’t despise it. The wilderness is still part of the journey.
