‘I SEE YOU, LORD’

It was during one of Lara’s quiet walks at dawn that her heart stirred with overwhelming awareness, she could see God everywhere.

She paused to admire the rising sun and whispered, “Lord, I see You.”

She saw Him in the radiant morning light, a quiet reminder that darkness can never overpower His Light.

She saw Him in the gentle rain that soaked the earth, a metaphor of the blessings that come when we least expect them.

She saw Him in the honesty of children, their open laughter and trust a perfect reflection of how the Father loves unconditionally.

In a friend’s comforting words, in the loyal strength of her spouse, in the sound of birds singing… Lara realized that God wasn’t just “up there.” He was everywhere, presently present.

Her business had seen rough days, her family had faced storms, but in the beauty and rhythm of nature, and in the kindness of strangers, she saw the steady hand of the Omnipresent One.

Lara’s prayer became a simple yet powerful request: “Lord, open my eyes daily to see You in the ordinary and in the extraordinary. Let Your presence flood my life.”

He is not just God of the mountain or the temple, He is God of the boardroom, classroom, living room, hospital ward, traffic jam, and hidden tears. He is Jehovah Shammah, the Lord who is there.

You only need to look closely.

PRAYER POINTS:

• Lord, help me to see You clearly in the midst of my daily life.

• Father, let Your presence saturate my business, family, and relationships.

• Jehovah Shammah, reveal Yourself in areas I’ve thought You were absent.

• Let Your presence fill every dry place in my life with joy and restoration.

• Help me to reflect Your love and nearness to others around me.

Wherever you are right now, pause and say: “Lord, I see You.”
