I sat quietly, reflecting on my journey…
and one truth overwhelmed my heart:
I should have been lost.

There were moments I walked away knowingly.
Moments I ignored His voice.
Moments I chose what looked good over what was right.

Yet somehow… I was never completely gone.

Even when I drifted,
His mercy followed.
Even when I wandered,
His eyes stayed on me.

I remember those seasons, when I chased things that could never satisfy,
when I entertained spaces I shouldn’t have entered,
when my choices slowly pulled me away from Him.

But He didn’t step back.

Instead, His mercy kept reaching.
Quietly. Patiently. Persistently.

When I found myself in places I shouldn’t be,
surrounded by influences that could have destroyed me,
He was there, unseen, but present.

Protecting me.
Preserving me.
Keeping me from falling beyond recovery.

Looking back now, I understand, it wasn’t my strength that kept me.
It was His mercy that refused to let me go.

Like a shepherd who notices one missing sheep,
He didn’t settle for the ninety-nine.
He came after me.

Not because I deserved it but because His love is relentless.

And today, my heart echoes one thing:
Thank You for not letting go of me.

God’s love does not abandon easily.
Even when you walk away, His mercy keeps calling you back.

You may have strayed,
you may have made wrong choices,
but if you are still here, it is proof
He never lost sight of you.

Return to Him.
The One who kept you is still waiting for you.

KEY SCRIPTURE:
Luke 15:4–5 –
“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine… and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?”

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, thank You for Your mercy that never gave up on me.
Father, draw me closer to You and help me never stray again.
Lord, help me to always respond to Your call and remain in Your presence.
