Have you ever wondered why we sometimes have to preach what we don’t feel?

Have you ever wondered how a barren woman of 10years feels when she has to encourage another Childless woman of 4years that “God will give you your Child” even though she is losing hope and will retire to her bedroom to shed obvious hidden tears…

Have you ever wondered how a hungry/starving Pastor tells his members or converts that “God will provide for you and He will put food on your table” when in actual fact, he hasn’t had a decent meal in a while…hmm…. preaching what you don’t feel…

Have you ever wondered how a marriage counselor feels when she tells a Crying wife “God will heal your home” When her own home is looking like it’s beyond repair and crushed…Hmm…

And the List goes on and on… but I remember a man who had to preach what he didn’t feel or see… Abraham was going to sacrifice his only son and His Son asked where the animal to be sacrifice was and Abraham had to preach what he knew God was able to do even though all signs showed otherwise…” …GOD WILL PROVIDE…” Gen 22:8

Abraham preached to Isaac even though he couldn’t feel it and God being a righteous & Faithful God (Those who put their trust in Him Shall not be put to Shame) provided a ram for him.

Why don’t you stay in faith, keep preaching it, even if you don’t feel it in your life, God is only trying your Faith in Him & taking you through a faith building program, so you can be His Tested, Tried and Qualified Ambassador… Shalom

  1. You know this is very true I am a pastor’s wife and have been going through tumultuous time financially,just last Sunday the senior pastor asks my husband and I to pray for the saints to get a financial breakthrough, I just did it but was wondering how God does such

    At times you are going through the very same problem the person is presenting before and you just have to encourage that person
    Sometimes you pray for someone asking the same thing you need then God just answer their prayer through you .
    You would be wondering is this not the same thing I have been praying for
